Wilma A. (Schradel) Kimmel

Wilma A. Kimmel, 84, Friedens, died Oct. 20, 2017 at The Patriot. Born July 16, 1933 in Friedens, daughter of Charles Henry and Lenore Grace (Klink) Schradel. Preceded in death by parents, husband Harold D., daughter Karen Kimmel, and brother Robert Schradel. Survived by daughters: Sandi Shoob, Raleigh, NC, and Susan married to Scott Berkebile, Friedens; grandchildren: Jordan Shoob, Ashley (Joseph) Lippert, and Kaitlyn (Trevor) Niemiec; great granddaughter Joslyn Lippert; sister Eleanor Mae Schmale; and son-in-law Ted Hansen. She was a graduate of Somerset Twp. High School. In her early years she worked at Roof Garden Market and retired from the Somerset Unemployment Office. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, gardening, her grandchildren, flea markets, and antique shopping. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Viewing from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Monday at Friedens Lutheran Church. Rev. Edward V. DeVore officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
