Alice Fae (Keidel) Hetrick

Alice Fae (Keidel) Hetrick, 99, Berlin, died October 11, 2023 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born September 19, 1924 in Hyndman, daughter of Charles and Nellie (Poorbaugh) Keidel. Preceded in death by parents, daughter Diann Legas, brother Robert and wife Kathryn, and sister Elizabeth Jean. Survived by her daughter Barbara married to Wayne Oester; grandson Derrick Oester; son-in-law William Legas; nieces K. Jean (Keidel) Williams and Shirley (Keidel) Verbos; and many loved cousins and friends. She was a 1942 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. She is retired from J.J. Newberrys and Philson National Bank. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin. She enjoyed bus trips for many years where she made lots of friends. Spending time with family and friends, and taking care of her home was her life. Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Dr. David Williams officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe.
