Allen G. Manges

Allen G. Manges, 73, Boswell, died March 8, 2024 at Somerset Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born March 25, 1950 in Johnstown, son of Galen Ray and Phyllis (Jones) Manges. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Gerald Manges and Ronald Alexander, and sisters Elaine Bloom, Jeannette Marsh, and Charlotte and Alice Manges. Survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Martha McElroy; children: Allen (Nicole) Manges, Jr., Norman (Bobbi) Manges, and Laura (Donald) Penrod; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and brothers: Charles Manges, George (Kay) Alexander, and Raymond Alexander. He was a member of Jennerstown Community Church. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Jennerstown Community Church. Rev. Chuck Hildbold officiating.
