Betty Louise (Smith) Bittner

Betty Louise Bittner, 97, of Berlin, died Oct. 14, 2022 at home. Born Oct. 30, 1924 in Meyersdale, daughter of Charles and Flora (Coughenour) Smith. Preceded in death by parents, husband Fay C. Bittner, son Thomas Smith Bittner, and 10 brothers and sisters. Survived by sons: Douglas F., Fort Myers, FL, and Jeffrey O., Berlin; and grandchildren: Eric and Andrew Bittner Fort Myers, FL, and Ashley F. Bittner, Pittsburgh. She was a 1942 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. She enjoyed knitting, needle point, and crossword puzzles. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Sam Coughenour officiating. Interment Mt.
