Betty Christine (Firestone) Flick

Betty Christine Flick, 74, of Somerset, died April 13, 2024 at UPMC Somerset. Born June 5, 1949 in Somerset, daughter of LaVern “Jim” Firestone and Audrey (Bauman) Firestone-Hawkins. Preceded in death by parents, husband Fred, and sisters: Suzanne Jones, Melody Reese, and Amanda Hawkins. Survived by brothers and sisters: Gregory (Barbara) Firestone, Sally (Robert) Snyder, Mark (Belinda) Firestone, and Samantha (Randy) Keller; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School. Betty was a former secretary at City Finance, Somerset Borough, and Somerset Co. Domestic Relations. Member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Somerset. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and her favorite hobby, sewing with her friends at The Sewing Box. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 29th, at Kantner United Methodist Church, 626 Forbes Rd., Stoystown, PA 15563. Rev. Rich Pearson officiating. Inurnment Somerset Co.
