Betty Hittie Obituary

Betty Louise Hittie, 94, New Wilmington, formerly of Berlin, died April 22, 2025 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born August 21, 1930 in Hooversville, daughter of Lester C. and Bessie D. (Swartzwelder) Brown. Preceded in death by parents, husband Jay H. Hittie, and brothers Kenneth, Richard, and Eugene Brown. Survived by her sons: Gerald (Linda) and Donald (Karen) Hittie; grandchildren: Joshua (Jennifer), Aaron (Heather), and Benjamin Hittie, and Rebecca (Craig) Horner; great grandchildren: Maverick, Mason, Maddox, Liam, Colton, Peyton, Morgan, and Madison; and great great grandchildren: Luke, Brody, Audriella, Delilah, and Slade. Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting. She also enjoyed traveling with Jay to all of the states in the USA besides Hawaii. They also traveled to Europe.
