Betty Joswick, 90, Hooversville, died July 28, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. Born Sept. 13, 1927 in Baker Whitely, daughter of Alex and Elizabeth (Farkash) Nagy. Preceded in death by parents; husband Richard W.; sister Helen Russo, and brothers: Joseph, William, and Ernest Nagy. Survived by children: Richard J. (Jan) Joswick, Caldwell, ID; Elizabeth (Joseph) Kaufman, Jennerstown; Kathy (Jan) Lindstedt, Falls Church, VA; and Bonnie (Fernando) Pacheco, Burke, VA; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren; sisters: Lillian (Mac) Fuschino, Ethel Rooney, Pearl Clinard, Gloria (Clifford) Banner, Eileen (James) Miller, and Linda Gacka; and brothers: Edward (Rita) Nagy, Douglas (Owenna) Nagy, and James (Donna) Nagy. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Somerset. Her passion was crocheting, her family, and church. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville. Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville.
