Betty Jean "Betty O" (Pile) Sheeler O'Leary

Betty Jean “Betty O” Sheeler O’Leary, 95, Somerset, died July 16, 2020 at The Patriot. Born Oct. 14, 1924 in Somerset, daughter of Norman and Ollie (Carver) Pile. Preceded in death by parents, husbands: George Sheeler and John F. O’Leary, sister Lois (Gene) Fitzgerald, and son-in-law John William Mostoller. Survived by daughter Beverly Mostoller, with whom she resided; special nephews: Barry (Debra) and Douglas (Pamela) Fitzgerald; great niece Danielle (Morgan) Larrick, and son Maxwell; step grandchildren: Valorie (Jay) Kennedy, Billy (Amanda) Mostoller, Jeffory Mostoller, and Randy (Lori) Mostoller, and children Kyle and Courtney; and some special Sheeler family members. She was a 1942 graduate of Somerset High School. Formerly employed by Somerset State Hospital and the former Ramada Inn. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church. Her life was full, living 30 plus years in Florida during the Winter and camping at “Little House” in the Summer. She loved her Florida family especially Matt Willis, playing cards, camping, gambling, and happy hour. She will be missed by many and she is now at eternal rest.
