Bill M. Pluta Sr.

Bill M. Pluta Sr., 72, of Cairnbrook, died July 16, 2024 at home. Born Sept. 9, 1951 in Somerset, son of Louis and Caroline (Sechler) Pluta. Preceded in death by parents and brother John Pluta. Survived by wife of 53 years the former Sally Berkey; sons: Bill Jr. (Amy) and Joseph (Dottie) Pluta; grandsons: Christopher and Austin Pluta; brothers: Andrew (Peggy), Mike, and Jeffrey (Delene) Pluta; sisters: Sue (Chris) Miller and Mary Lou (John) Pongrac; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1969 graduate of Forbes High School and a retired mechanic. Bill was an avid race car enthusiast.
