Blanche E. (Berkley) Philip, 87, Garrett, died December 5, 2023 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born January 9, 1936 in Somerset, daughter of Irvin and Minerva (Bittinger) Berkley. Preceded in death by parents, husband, John Philip, brothers and sisters: Mabelle Lint, Junior Berkley, Hilda Smith, Charles Berkley, and Beatrice Keith. Survived by these children: John Philip, Jr., Samuel (Connie) Philip, Jocelyn (Gary) Shaffer, Nancy (Robert) Platt, Douglas (Brenda) Philip, and Larry (Rebecca) Philip; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters Ruby Buchanan and Myrtle Kennell; and brother Paul Berkley. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Rev. Jim Kunes officiating. Interment Philip Family Cemetery.
