Brandon William Bechtel

Brandon William Bechtel, 32, Berlin, died August 5, 2024 at home. Born September 6, 1991 in Somerset, son of Donald William and Nancy Lee (Helsel) Bechtel. Preceded in death by step brother Brian Bechtel, paternal grandfather Donald Harvey Bechtel, and maternal grandparents William “Pete” and Violet Helsel. Survived by his parents, of Berlin; brothers: Kevin (Jackie) Bechtel and Justin Michael (Margie) Replogle; sister: Joanie Lee Replogle; uncles: Charles and Rodger (Lori) Helsel, and Terry (Bridget) Bechtel; aunt: Wanda (John) Miller; nieces and nephews: Landon, Emma, and Isaac Bechtel, Leslie, Derick, Heley, Angel, J.J., and Maria Replogle, Patrick Leput, and Lauren and Kirsten Laney; and grandmother Helen Bechtel. He was a 2010 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and most recently worked at Geochemical Testing Laboratory in Somerset. Member of Somerset Apostolic Church, and Mountain Field and Stream and New Baltimore Sportsman’s Clubs. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. There will be no viewing or service at this time.
