Carl Henry "Leroy" Clark

Carl Henry “Leroy” Clark, 64, Berlin, died October 25, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown surrounded by his family. Born November 14, 1958 in Detroit, MI, son of the late Luther and Carolyn (Hoffer) Clark. He was married in Rector on July 5, 1980 to Eleanor “Ellie” Hawkins. Carl was a 1977 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a heavy equipment operator for Corsa Coal. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, SAL Squadron 445, Berlin, Mountain Field and Stream and New Baltimore Sportsman’s Clubs, and a former member of Berlin VFC. He enjoyed hunting, cooking at deer camp, camping, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Ellie, he is survived by his sons: Jason (Amy) Clark and their son Cohen, and Christopher (Brittany) Clark; sisters: Susan (Dan) Gindlesperger and Nancy (Michael) Hutchinson; brother Clinton (Ruthanne) Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
