Carl R. "Joe" Harmon

Carl R. “Joe” Harmon, 89, Fairhope, died February 15, 2025 at home. Born March 25, 1935 in Berlin, son of Grant and Bessie (Fritz) Harmon. Preceded in death by parents, daughter Debra Miller, infant daughter Linda, and brothers Robert, Grant Jr., Harold, and Walter. Survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Mary D. Weigle; daughter Diane (Gregory) Weyant; numerous grandchildren; brother Larry (Katherine) Harmon; sisters Betty Bruck and Linda Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. He attended Berlin Brothersvalley High School. Carl worked as a loader for Snyder of Berlin. He enjoyed woodworking, auctions, feeding the birds, and jigsaw puzzles. Family will receive friends from 4 until funeral service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Rev. Kyle Mullins officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery, Fairhope.
