Carl E. Saylor

Carl E. Saylor, 83, Berlin, died November 12, 2023 at home. Born March 5, 1940 in Berlin, son of Charles C. and Annie Belle (Gindlesperger) Saylor. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Mary Saylor, Phyllis Cober, and Helen Ruth Witt, and brother Richard Saylor. Survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Karol Barron; sons: Kevin and Craig (Amy) Saylor; grandchildren: Jordan Saylor and friend Megan Pcola, and Courtney (Brandon) Peck; great grandchildren: Trexton, Autumn, and Harper; brothers: John (Vi) and Robert (Darlene) Saylor; and sister Shirley (Ed) Reed. He was a 1958 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a retired salesman for Somerset Auto Parts. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, the Berlin VFD, and he helped at the Berlin Food Pantry. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity UCC, 600 Main St., Berlin. Rev.
