Charlene D. (Hoppert) Norris

Charlene D. Norris, 76, of Fairhope, died September 27, 2024 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born July 9, 1948 in Windber, daughter of Lee and Lorene (Powell) Hoppert. Preceded in death by parents and brother Robert Lee Hoppert. Survived by her husband of 54 years Kenneth; son Corey (Debbie) Norris; granddaughter Emma Norris; sister Donna Hoppert; brother Lynn (Lori) Hoppert; and nephews: Landon and Lance Hoppert. She was a 1966 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. Charlene spent 33 years in banking in Berlin and was a retired social worker at Meadow View. She attended Berlin Brethren Church, and was a member of the Berlin Area Historical Society. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Meadow View Nursing Center and Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care. Her faith in God helped her face cancer with the peace that passes all understanding. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Tom Sprowls officiating. Interment Mt.
