Charles W. Manges Jr., 77, of Stoystown, died January 15, 2025 at home. Born March 7, 1947 in Skunk Hollow, Hooversville, son of Charles Sr. and Bessie Sadie (Stern) Manges. Preceded in death by parents, infant son Jason, brother Donald, and sisters: Mary J. LePire and Betty Storey. Survived by his wife of 58 years the former Wilma Tezza; son Charles “Chuck” (Melissa) Manges III; beloved granddaughter Madison; step granddaughter Nikki; step great grandchildren: Cooper, Emma, Amelia, and Grayden; sister Ruth (Raymond) Powell; brother Jerry (Darlene) Manges; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1965 graduate of Forbes High School and served in the Army Reserves. He retired from MEI and then worked as the janitor at Kantner U.M. Church. He attended Kantner United Methodist Church. He loved John Deere tractors, antique tractors, and tractor toys and collectibles. There will be no viewing or service at Charlie’s request.
