Charles R. Mowry

Charles R. Mowry, 94, Somerset formerly of Berlin, died October 25, 2022 at Siemon’s Heritage. Born December 22, 1927 in Fairhope, son of Harry and Nellie (Manges) Mowry. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Hilda Kern, sister Dorothy Will, infant brother Carl, and nephew Lawrence Will. Survived by niece Margaret Will and several other nieces and nephews. He was a WW II and Korean War Army veteran and also served in the US Navy. He was a retired mail flow mechanic for the Post Office. Member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Glen Savage and American Legion Post 445, Berlin. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and traveling. Viewing from 9 a.m until service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Glen Savage. Rev. Kyle Mullins officiating. Interment Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery.
