Charles Andrew Yurasek, 64, Stoystown formerly of Texas, died March 2, 2025 at home. Born March 22, 1960 in Johnstown, son of the late Charles E. and Genevieve (Hunter) Yurasek. Survived by his wife of 43 years, the former Paula Pile; sister Carla (Robert) Berg; mother-in-law Diane Pile; sister-in-law Bonnie (Darryl) Weaver; and nieces and nephews: Lindy, Nicole, Bryon (Valerie) Berg, Genevieve, Hannah, and Ryan Anderson, Easton and Parker Berg, and Emberly; Aaron (Jessica), and Nathan Weaver, Mackenzie, Maggie, Meredith, Morgan, Molly, Duncan, and Gavin Weaver. He was a graduate of Johnstown Vo-Tech. He was a retired Control Room Operator at W.A. Parish Plant, Thompsons, TX for 43 years. Member of Windber Loyal Order of Moose and Somerset FOE Aerie 1801. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family, watching the deer, and barbequing on his grill. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Pastor Nathan Weaver officiating.
