Cindy Ann Webreck, 72, Butler, died August 9, 2023 at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler. Born November 25, 1950 in Somerset, daughter of Richard M. and Rose Ann (Will) Webreck. Preceded in death by her father and brother Richard D. Webreck. Survived by her mother of Berlin; brothers: Dennis, Brian (Teena) and Keith Webreck, all of Berlin; sister Jeanne M. (Thomas) Lowry, Shanksville; sister-in-law Cathy Webreck; 11 nieces and nephews; and 17 great nieces and nephews. She was the 1968 Valedictorian of Berlin Brothersvalley High School, a 1972 graduate of Antioch College, and received her master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She was the former director of the Butler V.A. Drug and Alcohol Center. She worked for the V.A. for over 30 years. Active member of All Saints Catholic Church, Butler. Former president of VOICE advisory board and Butler Outdoor Club. Member of 3MJC and Moraine Preservation Fund. She founded an organization to promote the Moraine Historic Oil Well. She loved flowers, bird watching, the outdoors, and following the activities of her nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a Vigil Service will be held at 2 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Macdonaldton.
