Clyde H. Custer, 92, of Shanksville, died Jan. 8, 2025 at Somerset Healthcare and Rehab. Born June 30, 1932 in Stonycreek Twp., son of Earl and Annabelle (Lambert) Custer. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Betty J. Stull, brothers: Charles and Richard, and sisters: Polly, Betty, and Virginia. Survived by son Ed Custer; grandsons: Jordan (Tiffany) and Justice Custer; 2 great grandchildren; brothers: George and James; sisters: Velma and Nadean; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clyde attended Shanksville-Stonycreek High School, a Korean War Army Veteran, and a retired block layer. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Doug Burns officiating. Interment Walker Cemetery.
