D. Eric Shipley

D. Eric Shipley, 56, Glencoe, died July 31, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born February 9, 1967 in Meyersdale, son of Nancy (Leister) Shipley of Fairhope and the late Donald Wilson Shipley. Preceded in death by father, niece Courtney Paige Robertson, paternal grandparents Charles F. and Mabel Shipley, and maternal grandparents Luke and Anna Leister. Survived by his mother; sisters: Tina Pritts, Karen (Keith) Cotter, Aimee (Doug) Robertson, and April (Troxell) Warnick; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1985 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a former employee of Snyder of Berlin. He enjoyed playing and coaching volleyball. He will be greatly missed by the friends and teammates he played volleyball with. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Dwayne Hay officiating. Interment Mt.
