Darrell Jay Barron

Darrell Jay Barron, 72, Somerset, passed away October 25, 2024 at Somerset Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born November 26, 1951 in Meyersdale, son of the late Charles W. and Hazel M. (Fogle) Barron. Survived by his brothers: Wayne A. and Thomas E. (Gloria) Barron. He was a graduate of Somerset High School. Darrell was a mail contractor for over 40 years at the Somerset Post Office. He loved to ride motorcycles and ATV’s. Darrell loved to hunt, enjoyed cookouts, and spending time at the cabin. After retirement, he still enjoyed nightly trips to Pittsburgh with his brother Wayne on the mail route. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Rev.
