David Allen Hay

David Allen Hay, 63, Berlin, died June 7, 2024 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born November 21, 1960 in Ft. Campbell, KY, son of the late Orlo J. and Barbara Ann (Krause) Hay. Survived by his wife of 39 years, the former Jodie Haselbarth; daughter Rebecca (Amber) Sheaffer; granddaughter Arianna Sheaffer; brothers: Dennis (Sharon) and Richard (Angie) Hay; sister-in-law Jan (Shawn) Lehman; and several nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a self-employed contractor. Member of Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren and the Somerset County Builder’s Association. He enjoyed camping, collecting John Deere models, and his Koi pond. There will be no viewing. A service of remembrance will be held Saturday June 22nd at 2 p.m. at the Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren. Pastor Charles Hay officiating.
