David James Stotler, 88, Stoystown, died December 2, 2025 at Richland Healthcare and Rehab. Born January 8, 1937 in Quemahoning Twp., son of John Stotler and Mary (Corbett) Stotler Gardner. Preceded in death by parents, step father Millard Gardner, brothers Ernest and John “Jack” Stotler, and wife of 30 years, Ella Stotler. Survived by children: Roxianne (Patrick) McCarty, Cindy (Kraig) Sturtz, Carol (Brian) Duprey, Pamela Stotler, and James (Janis Jeffreys) Stotler; grandchildren: Douglas (Breanna) Moore, Gillian Sturtz, Aubrey (David) Knorr, Brandy (Brad) Berube, Angel-LeeAnna, Joshua, and Danae Duprey, Joseph Stotler, Kitaira Stotler, Candace Jeffreys, and Abigail Stotler; great grandchildren: Noah, Asher, Barrett, Kimber, Gage, Liberty, and Keagan; brothers: Dale (Patricia) and Donald (Mary) Stotler; sister Nancy (David) Dinning; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Forbes High School and Colorado School of Trades for Education, and was a Korean Era Air Force veteran. David was the owner of Stotler Gun Shop. Member of American Legion Post 257. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gunsmithing, donating knives to Dress to the Nines, and spending time with his family.
