David P. Thomas

David P. Thomas, 56 of Somerset, died January 2, 2024 at home. Born July 16, 1967 in Somerset, son of Floyd and Audrey (Sarver) Thomas. Preceded in death by parents, brother Floyd, sister Shirley Thomas, sister-in-law LouAnn McCoy, and father and mother-in-law Edward and Doris Sivits. Survived by fiancée  Angela (Sivits) Maust; daughters Peyton Thomas and boyfriend Levi Fundis, and Davi Thomas and boyfriend Evan Wentz; son Bryan Maust (Courtney Pritts); grandson Londyn Maust; brothers and sisters: Samuel Thomas, Gloria Cabinaw (Russ Reynolds), Norma Collins, Audrey Beeman, Sara (Dave) Bowman, Danny (Lori) Thomas, and Jeannette (Glenn) Romesberg; sisters in-law Barb Sivits, Deanna (Mike) Brivchik, and Connie (Ronnie) Weirich; brother-in-law Terry McCoy; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was formerly employed by Rockwood Manufacturing and member of Laurel Ridge Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles, and spending time with his family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
