Delma Mae (Seifert) Platt

Delma Mae Platt, 88, Berlin, died Feb. 23, 2020 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born Feb. 23, 1932 in Berlin, daughter of Blanche Seifert. Preceded in death by parents, step father Mathias R. Kimmel, husband Charles A. Platt, son Charles V. Platt, half-brother Clair Kimmel, and great grandson Ben Platt. Survived by her children: James F. (Joan), Scullton, Robert G. (Nancy), Ruthanne M. (Clinton) Clark, both of Berlin, Diane L. Lape, Somerset, David A. (Julia), Missouri, and Clair L. (Mary), Somerset; 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a half-sister, Ruth Kimmel, Berlin. Member of Berlin Brethren Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, flower gardening, pottery, and reading. Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Rev.
