Her love for animals was almost as big as her love for people! She worked at the Humane Society of Somerset Co. for nearly 45 years and she loved placing unwanted pets in their forever homes! Generous in every way and always asked if she could lend a hand to someone in need, she put her loved ones before herself until the very end, not wanting to cause us more worry or pain! The world is a sadder place now that she has gone to her forever home but she created a legacy of kindness that will remain forever! Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Jay Shaffer officiating. Interment Berlin I.O.O.F.
