Doris Joan (Keller) Custer

Doris Joan Custer, 80, Friedens, formerly of Central City, died January 30, 2024 at UPMC Altoona. Born September 7, 1943 in Fairhope, daughter of Ronald and Romaine (Coughenour) Keller. Preceded in death by parents and sisters Faye VanHorn and Mary Skowvron. Survived by her husband of 62 years, Terry; sons Randy (Danielle) and Mike Custer; grandchildren: Kevin, Derrick, Jordan, Brittany, and Samantha; 3 great grandchildren; and special niece Missy Shultz. She was a graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School. Doris was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards, BINGO, and spending time with her family and her cats. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Erica Wellner officiating. Interment Mt.
