Doris Jean Glotfelty 86, Berlin, died Aug. 26, 2018 at Somerset Hospital. Born Sept. 28, 1931 in Berlin, daughter of Raymond and Nellie (Deist) Sarver. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 44 years Clark E., brothers: Mick and Cliff McDonald, and Lawrence “Bud” Sarver, and sisters: Janice Zipfel and Shirley Lowery. Survived by sons: Timothy (Debbie Resslar) Glotfelty, New Alexandria, and Curtis (Nancy) Glotfelty, Berlin; grandchildren: Heather Frye, Jessica (Brad) McClucas, Janna Glotfelty, Troy (Danielle) Glotfelty, and Eric (Chelsea) Glotfelty; 8 great grandchildren; brother: Tom (Judy) Sarver, Lancaster; sister-in-law: Mary Sarver, Berlin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 1949 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and retired from Snyder of Berlin. Member of Berlin Legion Auxiliary and New Baltimore Sportsman’s Club. She enjoyed BINGO, crossword puzzles, The Pirates, and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to thank Laura Caton for her excellent care.
