Doris J. (Miller) Malas

Doris J. Malas, 72, Meyersdale, died June 9, 2025 at Casselman Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Born August 17, 1952 in Somerset, daughter of Grover and Vesta (Glessner) Miller. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers Wilfred and Larry Miller. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Fred; sisters-in-law Virginia Miller, Charlotte Miller, Joanna Barefoot and Kathy Fisher (husband Jeff) and brother-in-law Ken Malas (wife Sarah); eight nieces, three nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was a 1970 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. Doris was a farmwife and later became a caregiver to others. Doris loved her Lord, and enjoyed gospel music.  She loved her family and adored all children.  She was especially fond of her cats. Doris will be remembered for her kindness and thoughtfulness, and her genuine interest in everyone she met. A private service to be officiated by Rev.
