Doris Louise Sivits, 87, Somerset, died Jan. 30, 2020 at home. Born July 3, 1932 in Somerset, daughter of Robert H. and Emma J. (Brady) Lowery. Preceded in death by parents, husband Edward, 6 brothers, and 4 sisters. Survived by her daughters Connie (Ronald) Weirich, Barb Sivits, Lou Ann (Terry) McCoy, Deanna (Michael) Brivchik, and Angela (David Thomas) Maust; grandchildren Ryan (Tracy), Dorissa, Michael Allie, Bryan (Courtney), Peyton, and Davi; great grandchildren Tristan, Emma, Lauren, and Londyn; sister Judith (Thomas) Sarver, and numerous nieces and nephews. She attended Shanksville-Stonycreek High School and was the former owner/operator of Grammie Mam’s Homemade Sweets. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
