Dorothy Marie (Barndt) Weyand

Dorothy Marie Weyand, 85, of Somerset, died Nov. 25, 2022 at home. Born Mar. 11, 1937 in Somerset Twp., daughter of John and Ida (Baker) Barndt. Preceded in death by parents, husband Paul, grandchildren: John Weyand Jr. and Richard Kelly Jr., great granddaughter Chailee Boswell, sons-in-law Richard Kelly and Fred Gastley, two brothers, and three sisters. Survived by children: Bonnie Kelly, Edward Weyand, John (Ronda) Weyand, Lena (Jim) Gindlesperger, Jean Gastley, and Tammy (Larry) Taylor; 8 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and sister Mary Jane Bell. She enjoyed metal detecting, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.
