Dr. Adeline Mae (Rhoads) Vieregge

Dr. Adeline Mae Vieregge, 83, Berlin, passed peacefully November 24, 2024. Born March 22, 1941 in Berlin, daughter of Harry William and Katherine Rachel (Wyand) Rhoads. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 41 years Dr. Jerry Ray Vieregge, son Shane, brothers Harry “Sonny” and Robert Rhoads. Survived by daughter Kathy married to Terry Spangler; grandchildren: Elisabeth Spangler and Nathaniel Spangler, all of Berlin; honorary granddaughter Elizabeth (Shank) Baker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 1959 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and a 1964 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. Former owner/operator of Vieregge Chiropractic Center with her husband. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, Penns Woods Council B.S.A., and Somerset County 4-H. She enjoyed living on the farm and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
