Dwight C. Deeter

Dwight C. Deeter, 77, Fairhope, died February 13, 2024 at home. Born May 16, 1946 in Fairhope, son of Harold Sr. and Gladys (Robb) Deeter. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Linda Shroyer, numerous brothers and sisters, a niece, and a nephew. Survived by sons: Bryan (Stacey) Deeter and Brad (Bridget) Deeter; grandchildren: Austin Simpson, Joshua Deeter and fiancée Monica, and Brody Deeter; sister Diane (Walt) Visinsky; and sisters-in-law Nancy Deeter, Maxine Kerns, and Barbara Tannehill. He was a 1964 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic for Beckwith Machinery Co. having 33 years of service. Dwight was also a former Allegheny Twp. Supervisor. Member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, New Baltimore Sportsman’s Club, and Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 1836 Dividing Ridge Rd., Fairhope, PA 15538. Vicar Penny Koontz officiating. Private inurnment at the church cemetery at a later date. Contributions may be given to Mt.
