Edith Delores Costello, 85, of Fairhope, died October 23, 2023 surrounded by her loving husband and six children, at Chester County Hospital, West Chester. Born March 9, 1938 in South Fork, daughter of Ralph Emerson and Hazel (Thomas) Rowe. Preceded in death by parents and sister Violet Ressler. Survived by husband of 67 years Miles K. Costello Jr.; children: Linda (Ken) Shue, Roy (Annalee) Costello, Gary (Christine) Costello, Ruth (Steve) Boyer, Dana Costello, and Dona (Matt) Murtha; grandchildren: Mandy Oswalt, Sonya Kiffer, Ashley (Nick) Finsterbusch, Christine (Rob) Hinckley, Stephen (Lindsay) Boyer Jr., Shane (Cassidy) Boyer, and Sarah Murtha; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and sister Phyllis (Jerry) Sherle. She was a retired Procurement Clerk for the Dept. of Defense. Member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Fairhope, F.O.E. 1801, O.E.S. Somerset, Worthy Matron 1980 to 1981 in Prospect Park, and New Baltimore Sportsmen’s Club. She enjoyed canning, cooking, baking, playing Bingo, and trips to the casino.
