Edna May LaRue-Knepper, 97, of Berlin, died July 25, 2022 at UPMC Somerset. Born March 15, 1925 in Akron, OH, daughter of Harry and Myrtle (Brick) Coleman. Preceded in death by parents, husbands Eugene LaRue and James Knepper, step children Joyce Humberd and Douglas Knepper, and brothers: Eugene, Vernon, and Junior Coleman. Survived by her son Larry LaRue and wife Mary; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters: Violet (Edward) Zorn and Emily (Jay) Berkey; brother: Ray (Linda) Coleman; step son-in-law Larry Humberd; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School where she was Valedictorian, and attended business school in Pittsburgh. Member of Berlin Alliance Church. She enjoyed family gatherings, music, embroidery, and her cat Sam. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.
