Elsie Jean "Jeannie" (Fritz) McClucas

Elsie Jean “Jeannie” McClucas, 78, of Bunnell, FL, formerly of Shanksville, died Oct. 4, 2019 at home. Born Dec. 4, 1940 in Stoystown, daughter of Harry Herbert and Freda Almenia (McNeal) Fritz. Preceded in death by parents, husband Arthur, and sister Betty Fritz. Survived by daughter Holly (Brian) Thompson, Ormond Beach, FL; grandchildren: Laura and Nathaniel Thompson; and many step children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren that she considered her own. She was a graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School. She was a former employee of DeVilbiss, A.W. Francis, and the F.B.I. in Washington D.C. She attended Maysville United Methodist Church in Maysville, NC. She enjoyed her dogs, Hallmark movies, reading, jigsaw puzzles, traveling, and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. Walter Burnett officiating.
