Emma Jean (Kline) Mostoller

Emma Jean Mostoller, 93, Davidsville, formerly of Friedens and Sun City Center, FL, died Nov. 25, 2021 at home. Born July 27, 1928 in Sipesville, daughter of Merle and Anna (Johnson) Kline. Preceded in death by parents, 1st husband Samuel Barron, son Gerald Barron, sister Josephine Bowman, and brothers: Dean and Eugene Kline. Survived by her husband of 58 years John W. Mostoller; daughter Amy (John) Carrig; son Mark (Ellen) Mostoller; grandchildren: Kelly (Michael) Barbera, Alexandra and Matthew Mostoller, and Ryan and Allison Carrig; and great grandson Michael Barbera. She was a 1946 graduate of Somerset High School and a 1950 graduate of Indiana State Teacher’s College. Retired Home Economics teacher from Somerset High School and also taught at Conemaugh Twp. and Shanksville in her early years. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir, Friedens Mother’s Club, and Stoystown Lioness Club. She was an accomplished seamstress, who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until a service at 11 a.m. Monday at Friedens Lutheran Church. Rev.
