Ernest Ray DePhillips

Ernest Ray DePhillips, 83, of Harrisville, formerly of Somerset, died January 19, 2026 at Grove City Medical Center. Born August 27, 1942 in Somerset, son of Floyd and Romayne (Beggs) DePhillips. Preceded in death by parents, brother-in-law Vearl Dean Pyle, and niece Denise Pyle. Survived by brothers: Floyd M. “Sonny”, Cleveland, OH, and James and wife Patty, Michigan; sister Donna Pyle, Somerset; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was loved by so many people. He raised pheasants for the PA Game Commission for 20 years, and worked on the family farm. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment Somerset Co. Memorial Park.
