Esther F. Ohler, 92, of Berlin, died January 24, 2024 at Rest Assured Living Center. Born February 11, 1931 in Black Twp., daughter of Charles E. and Agnes (Phillippi) Moore. Preceded in death by parents; husband Leo; infant son Ted William Ohler; grandson Jeremy Ohler; daughter-in-law Mary Ohler; brothers: John, Charles, Eugene, Orrie, and Dale Moore; and sisters: Melda Knopsnyder, Delores Moore, Idella Thompson, and Martha Moore. Survived by children: Roger “Rocky” (Patti) Ohler, Deborah (David) Emerick, and Gary “Dink” Ohler and girlfriend Paula Athey; grandchildren: Brad Kreinbrook, Angela (David) Fullard, Jonathan (Penny) Ohler, Zachary Ohler, and Travis Bohn; great grandchildren: Jacob, Luke, and Brooke Fullard, and Zaylee Ohler; sister Cleda Taubin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 1948 graduate of Meyersdale High School. Member of St Michael’s of Pine Hill Lutheran Church. Esther was a kind hearted and loving soul. She enjoyed going to BINGO, traveling, and playing cards with family and friends. Many were blessed with afghans that she crocheted. The family would like to thank Rest Assured Living Center and Heartland Hospice for their kindness and care during her final time on earth.
