Ethel Louise (Manges) Swartzwelder

Ethel Louise Swartzwelder, 86, of Somerset formerly of Stoystown, died July 11, 2020 at The Patriot. Born May 25, 1934 in Central City (Shade Twp), daughter of Harry and Ruth (Custer) Manges. Preceded in death by parents, husband Devear, son Randy, brother Harry “Butch”, and sister Jean Soho. Survived by daughter Linda (Harold) Schrock; daughter-in-law Kathy (John) Fox; grandchildren: Kerry Schrock, Joseph (Melissa) Schrock, Jeremy (Shelby) Swartzwelder, and Tonya (Jeffrey) Kimmel; great grandchildren: Emily and Jacob Schrock, Owen, Anna, and John Swartzwelder, and Mackenzie and Chase Kimmel; and sister Judy Ferrante. She attended Shade Central City High School. Member of Kantner Assembly of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Marty Critchfield officiating.
