Faye B. (Burwell) Igou

Faye B. Igou, 93, of Friedens, died Jan. 5, 2021 at home. Born May 12, 1927 in Tyrone, daughter of Allen and Beulah (Randolph) Burwell. Preceded in death by parents, daughters: Jennifer Lambert and Susan Lee Igou, 5 sisters, and 3 brothers. Survived by her husband of 72 years Ronald A. Igou; children: Ronald Jr., Deborah Breth and husband Randall Paddock, and Jeffrey and wife Barbara; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and special caregiver Kellie Miller. She was a graduate of Tyrone High School. Member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Somerset, and former member of First Christian Church, where she helped with cooking meals. Longtime member of Somerset Garden Club and former longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed making afghans and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Somerset. Rev. Mike Dunlap officiating. Interment Husband Cemetery.
