Frank King, 88, Hooversville, died Aug. 20, 2020 at Windber Woods Senior Living and Rehab Center. Born July 2, 1932 in Hooversville, son of Frank and Anna (Chizmar) King. Preceded in death by parents and brothers Joe, John, Steve, Mike, Earnest, Julius, and Edward. Survived by his wife of 64 years, the former Joan Datko, daughter Karen married to John Vandergrift, son Frank married to the former Melissa Turko, grandchildren Sheena Durst and fiancé Harry Singer and Blaine King, and brother Fred King. He was a former employee of Berwind Car Shop and Asplundh Tree Trimming. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and watching the Steelers. The family would like to thank the Windber Woods staff for all of the love and care for Frank and his family. There will be no viewing or service at Frank’s request.
