Frank B. "Red" Meyers

Frank B. “Red” Meyers, Jr., 94, Berlin, died June 26, 2024 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born March 31, 1930 in Wells Creek, son of Frank Sr. and Emma (Day) Meyers. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Betty Hay, and brother Harold. Survived by his children: Donald (April) Meyers and Cathy Meyers; grandsons: Benjamin (Nicole) and Matthew (Alyssa) Meyers; and great grandsons Stetson, Colson, and Kaison. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Red was a retired route salesman for Surge Company. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, was a crew member for Berlin Ambulance in the 1960’s and 70’s, and was a life member of Berlin VFD. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and word search puzzles. He loved his late wife, children, grandsons, and great grandsons. He will be missed by everyone. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a Firemen’s Service will be held at 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Jay Shaffer officiating. Interment Weller Cemetery, Somerset. Graveside Military Honors by the Somerset County Honor Guard.
