Gary N. Weaver

Gary N. Weaver, 82, Friedens formerly of Central City, died March 22, 2025 at home. Born November 24, 1942 in Windber, son of Irwin and Mildred (Holman) Weaver. Preceded in death by parents, wife of 49 years the former Willa Mae Small, brothers William, John, and Fred Weaver, and sister Margo Reynolds. Survived by children: Neil (Alicia) Weaver, Melissa Weaver, and Aaron (Brandy) Weaver; grandchildren: Joel and Kyle (Jordan) Weaver; brothers-in-law William and Gary Small; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1960 graduate of Windber High School and was a Vietnam Era Air Force veteran. He retired after 37 years with General Telephone. Member of Hooversville Church of the Brethren where he was a former Deacon, served on Western PA District Board of Church of the Brethren, the Western District C.O.B. Disaster Relief Team where he went to 40 out of state locations, and was a former volunteer at Camp Harmony. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Stanley Pisarski officiating.
