Geneva Kathleen (Mowry) McVicker

Geneva Kathleen McVicker, 92, Berlin, died October 6, 2025 at UPMC Somerset. Born August 13, 1933 in Fairhope, daughter of James J. and Irene May (Emerick) Mowry. Preceded in death by parents, husbands George E. Hummel and Floyd McVicker, daughters Belinda Kathleen Hummel and Nadine Irene (Hummel) Delancy, sister Carol Jean Mowry, son-in-law Lynn Walker, grandson Joseph Hummel, great grandson Gavin Konieczny, and brother-in-law Wayne Shaulis. Survived by her children: Robin Walker, Jeffrey J., David E. (Joyce), and George (Dottie) Hummel; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sisters: Shirley Shaulis and Linda (Ray) Coleman; and brother Dale (Carol) Mowry. She was a graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a retired Bagger for Snyder of Berlin. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin and a former member of the Berlin VFD Auxiliary. She loved her cats, and used to enjoy crocheting and dancing. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Rev.
