Glenda L. (Webreck) Bittner

Glenda Loyetta (Webreck) Bittner, 85, Glencoe, passed peacefully at her home March 11, 2025. Born February 28, 1940 in Glencoe, the youngest daughter of the late Simon and Annie (Smith) Webreck. Also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Terrance “Terry”, son Terrance “Bill”, son-in-law Randy Gillingham, granddaughter Janel Gillingham, and siblings and spouses Jack and Becky Webreck and Frank and Joann Rohrs. Survived by her daughters: Kimberly Gillingham, Kelly (Roger) Price, Angel Bittner, and Jody Durst; grandchildren: Annie (Jesse) Wolk, Trevor (Denise) Gillingham, Joshua (Becca) Bittner, RJ (Jess) Price, Mitchell (Shantel) Price, Brad (Taylor) Durst, Zeb Durst, Sami (Chance) Latshaw, Mikalah Durst, Jessica Bittner, and Roger Li; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a 1958 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. Glenda, affectionately known as “Gram” by her grandchildren, knew and loved the Lord and was a lifelong member of New Hope Church. She was an excellent baker and made the best pies and cinnamon rolls. After spending 27 years as an LPN at Somerset Hospital, Glenda retired and promptly set off on a two-week, cross-country adventure with Terry. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, watching deer in her backyard, and decorating her home in line with whatever holiday was approaching. She was an exceptional mother and grandmother and will be tremendously missed. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service at 5 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.
