Glenda Mae (Glessner) Landis

Glenda Mae Landis, 90, Berlin, died December 28, 2022 at the Patriot. Born October 4, 1932 in Roxbury, daughter C. Harold and Estella (Winebrenner) Glessner. Preceded in death by parents, husband Robert, sons Gary and Wayne, granddaughter Allison Burgos, brothers John and Ken Glessner, and sisters Margie Combs and Polly Bell. Survived by children: Dennis Landis, Kathy (Gary) Miller, Terry Landis, and Harold (Kim) Landis; daughter-in-law Lori Landis; “adopted” son Laz; grandchildren: Samantha (Joshua) Keller, Thurstan Rozinsky, Justin (Minhi) Miller, Zachary Landis, Josh (Tanisha) Landis, Jacob (Jessica) Landis, Amanda (Dan) Sheldon, Chelsey (Jimmy) Rountree, Lexi Landis, Vinson Burgos and Maryann Landis; great grandchildren: Kaylei, Abigail, Jada, Kyler, Maci, Scarlet, Malcolm, Milo, Gavin, and Harley; sister Jane (Harry) Watkins; sister-in-law Jan Glessner; and brother-in-law Dave Bell. She was a 1950 graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School where she retired as a secretary. Member of Unity United Church of Christ, Berlin where she sang in the choir, and Berlin Area Historical Society. She enjoyed reading, organizing family photos and mementoes, and spending time with her family. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service at 12 Noon Monday at Unity UCC, 2074 Huckleberry Hwy., Berlin, 15530. Rev. Jay Shaffer officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
