Obituary

Glenden Ray Keller, 86, Shanksville, died Feb. 28, 2023 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born Nov. 20, 1936 in Stonycreek Twp., son of Russell and Stella (Speicher) Keller. Preceded in death by parents, brother Clarence, infant sister Mary Ida, and granddaughter Andrea Susan Keller. Survived by his wife of 66 years the former Carol Emert; children: Thomas (Brenda), David, and John Keller, all of Shanksville, and Kathy (Robert) McElligott, Gahanna, OH; grandchildren: Ashley Keller, Trista (Dustin) Reed, Steven (Courtney) Keller, Heather (Mark) Pelesky, Brittany (John) Delasko, and Matthew and Braden McElligott; and great grandchildren: Tanner, Loxley, Gwenevieve, Bennett, Mya, and Josie. He was a 1954 graduate of Shanksville Stonycreek High School. He was a welder/foreman at Highland Tank for 48 years. Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville. He enjoyed gardening, watching sports, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Rev. John Barichivich officiating. Interment Glade Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mark Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 130, Shanksville, PA 15560.
