Glendon L. "Glen" Groft

Glendon L. “Glen” Groft, 88, Apple Creek, OH, died May 29, 2025 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born September 10, 1936 in Berlin, son of Lloyd Sr. and Helen (Chonko) Groft. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Earl. Survived by his brother Lloyd Groft, Jr. He was a 1954 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and was a Korean Era US Army Veteran. He attended Cambria-Rowe Business College. Glen was employed as an accountant and later as a truck driver. He enjoyed .22 target shooting and walking in the woods. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Stephen Shin OFM Cap. officiating.
